Bhagwan Marine has completed the acquisition of 100% of Riverside Marine Holdings Pty Ltd, marking a significant step in the company’s growth and national capability.
Founded in Brisbane in 1926 by the Campbell family, Riverside Marine has grown from a single barge operation into a long-established and trusted provider of marine services across Australia. Built on strong relationships, operational reliability and diversification, the business has remained family-led for generations. Today, Riverside specialises in the management and operation of approximately 30 diverse vessels, including nine owned, across five established brands.
This acquisition brings together two Australian, family-founded marine businesses with shared values – a commitment to quality, safety and delivering services in complex marine operating environments. Each has been built over decades within Australia’s marine sector, developing deep operational capability, long-standing client relationships and a strong national workforce.
Riverside Marine will continue to operate under its existing brands, maintaining its experienced teams, client relationships and established operations.
