Today the company, home to Australia’s most diverse fleet of vessels supporting the Oil & Gas, Resources, Civil Construction, Marine Logistics and Defence industries, announced that it is set to add yet another level to its standing in the industry. Loui Kannikoski, founder and Managing Director of Bhagwan Marine, announced that Peter Bengtsson, experienced and respected mariner and logistics professional, is to join the Bhagwan team as Chief Operating Officer.

Mr Kannikoski said that Peter brings with him a wealth of operational, commercial and managerial experience that will significantly enhance the operations and leadership within Bhagwan Marine. In particular, Peter’s highly regarded skills and experience with larger Platform Supply Vessels (PSV’s) and Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessels, will reinforce the company’s capabilities in logistics and supply.

“Peter has worked around the world in shipping and logistics, making his mark as an accomplished management and commercial professional,” Mr Kannikoski said. “His international management experience, his broad asset management capabilities and his strong focus on the financial success of the business will help us further strengthen and diversify our offering.”

Mr Bengtsson is due to commence his new role of Chief Operating Officer at Bhagwan Marine in August 2018, and will be based out of the company’s head office at 251 St Georges Tce, Perth, Western Australia.
